Katya and Connor met in December, 2017. A wintery first date at 2am (matching on Tinder over a shared interest in pop punk and a late night desire to watch a Wes Anderson film) had them realising that they had even more in common than initially expected: they also both liked happy hardcore, and proceeded to blast tunes off the side of Tower Bridge, before being asked by security to please leave.

After 7 years together, in their home in South London with Mr Chips the cat watching and Belle and Sebastian playing, Connor asked Katya to marry him, and she said yes.
